OCU’s integration with ReCharge is one of our most popular features, and today we’re making it even better.
Until recently, stores could only use this subscription service with OCU if Stripe was the payment processor being used for the entire transaction (initial order + upsell order).
But today I’m excited to announce that we’ve upgraded OCU’s integration with ReCharge and added 3 new payment processors:
● Authorize.net
● Braintree
● PayPal (If you have PayPal connected to your Braintree account, the OCU/ReCharge integration can now be used for these orders too!)
Subscription products are a great way to generate recurring revenue month to month, and now it’s easier than ever to leverage subscriptions in your upsell funnels.
Enabling the New Recharge Integration for Your Store
First, make sure that both OCU and ReCharge are installed and configured on your store. Remember: you must have the same payment processor and account connected to both apps for the integration to work.
Step 1: Log into OCU, go to the “SETTINGS” tab and select “INTEGRATIONS”. On this page you will see the option for “ReCharge Recurring Billing and Subscriptions”.
Step 2: Click “CONNECT” and you will automatically be redirected to our installation page. After installation is complete, you will be directed back to OCU to enable your new integration.
Step 3: Start adding OCU funnel tags to your ReCharge subscription products!
Add OCU Upsell Tags to Your Subscription Products
Want to start including subscription products into your OCU funnels?
Depending on the initial product your customer purchases, our ReCharge integration allows you to:
● Display single-purchase upsells on subscription orders
● Display subscription upsells on single-purchase orders
● Or even display subscription upsells on subscription orders
For example, let’s say you want to create a post-purchase upsell for this subscription product:
Simply locate the product in the backend of your store, and add an OCU funnel tag to the subscription product, like so:
Now OCU will process the payment for the initial order then automatically display the first upsell offer you have connected.
For any ReCharge products in your upsell funnel: OCU will display that product’s subscription options directly on the upsell offer page:
And for any subscriptions the customer adds to their order: OCU will automatically send their subscription order information to ReCharge for all future billing and delivery of the recurring order.
