August brought a big month of releases across OneClickUpsell and Zipify Pages, including a built-in AI upsell expert, videos for your post-purchase offers, cleaner mobile designs, and a first for both apps inside the Shopify admin.
Here’s what’s new ๐
OneClickUpsell
A built-in upsell expert included free with every plan.
Think of it as your OCU expert sitting inside your app. Ask it anything about OneClickUpsell and it will help: How do I set up my first funnel? Why isn’t my offer triggering? What funnel is dragging my numbers down? Ask and you get a real answer instead of a search results page.
It also knows your store. Because the Assistant reads your own sales data and product catalog, it can go beyond how-to questions and tell you what to do next. It will even project the revenue for a new funnel before you commit to building it.
And it only reads and recommends. Nothing changes in your store unless you make the change yourself.

Add video to your post-purchase offers
This is one of your most requested features and allows merchants to put demos, testimonials, and brand video right inside the upsell flow.
You can now add a Video block to any post-purchase offer page. Use it for product demos, customer testimonials, or any other content that helps close the sale at the moment your customer is deciding whether to add one more item.
Setting it up takes seconds.
- Open the funnel builder and navigate to the post-purchase offer you want to add video to.
- Click Add Content Block and select the Video block.
- Drop in your video using either a YouTube link or a self-hosted mp4 file.
- Customize the look by setting your thumbnail image, toggling the play icon, choosing a player background color, and adjusting the spacing.
Your funnel stays intact. The video opens in a new tab, so your offer page stays exactly where the customer left it. No shoppers wandering off mid-upsell.
Put it wherever it works hardest. The block is not locked to one position, so you can place it above the buy box, below the description, or anywhere else that fits your offer. More video platforms and layout options are on the roadmap.
Cleaner, more compact post-purchase pages
We have also given you more control over what appears on your post-purchase offer page.
You can now hide the subtotal, the total, and the product description block. That trims the page down to just what your customer needs to make the decision, without the extra line items competing for attention.
The bigger win here is on mobile. With those lines hidden, your add to cart button is visible as soon as the page renders. Your customers no longer have to scroll to find it, which means a cleaner mobile layout and less friction between your shopper and your offer.
Shopify Sidekick
We integrated both apps with Shopify Sidekick
This month we integrated both OneClickUpsell and Zipify Pages with Shopify Sidekick, making OCU the first upsell app on Shopify to offer this.
Sidekick is Shopify’s AI assistant, built into your admin behind the purple glasses icon. It is included with every Shopify plan, so you already have access to it.
What that means in practice: when a question about either app comes up while you are building, you no longer have to break your workflow to go find the answer. Click the glasses icon, ask your question, and get a response without leaving the page you are working on.
This is just the first version of the integration, and we will keep building on it.
Zipify Pages
New Back to School template
